Commercial Exhibitor Application and Contract

Special thanks to our first exhibitors!

Dear Potential Exhibitor, Advertiser, or Sponsor:

The Oregon Section of the American Chemical Society is pleased to host NORM 13, the 68th Northwest Regional Meeting from July 21 – June 24, 2013 in Corvallis Oregon at the Lasells-Stewart Center on the Oregon State University campus.  We invite you to participate in NORM 13.  This conference will be bubbling with enthusiasm, excitement, sessions, workshops, tours, congeniality, and we hope, your participation.   Prominent speakers are coming from Oregon State University, Reed College, Portland State University, Washington State University, the University of Portland, the University of Oregon, and other major institutions.  Exciting research presentations will delve into timely topics such as green chemistry, nanotechnology, biotechnology and biomedicine, along with environmental, atmospheric, polymer, industrial, and nuclear chemistry, and, of course, the chemistry of Oregon’s famous beers and wine.

Corvallis’s central location on the West Coast of the United States (with an international airport, PDX,  90 miles north in Portland), and “Da Vinci Days”, the Corvallis annual summer fest, lead us to expect at least 600 attendees from academia, government, and industry.  Da Vinci Days is a three-day festival showcasing the best in art, science and technology.  While there will be excitement and entertainment all over town, our NORM 13 meeting venue will be the Lasells-Stewart Center on the Oregon State University campus.

We realize that challenging economic conditions may still be on your mind.  We have made every effort to keep this event as economical as possible.  Therefore, we are holding exhibitor fees at their 2008 levels.  The fees are $500 for commercial vendors (includes two registrations) and $200 for not-for-profit and academic institution representatives (includes two registrations). NORM is a great way for you to reinforce connections with your customer base.  We will also provide the option of maintaining a literature-only booth, as your needs dictate.  The exposition will be in a high traffic area at the heart of lunch and refreshment breaks, as well as poster sessions, ensuring a steady stream of attendees at your booth.  Details on registration fees, deadlines, and booth information are in the Exhibitor Application Form linked below.  There are also sample advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

We look forward to your participation in NORM 2013!
